Hope you have a good one wherever you are!
Work wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. They geared me up for some kind of 2012 end of the world type of crap, and it was really just... a little busier than usual.
After work, I went grocery shopping. Picked up some steak and sour cream for the dinner I'm preparing tomorrow. Also nabbed some cubed beef for something else I want to make. I still have a lot of potatoes and onions left over.
Got the coffee maker running, so I can wake up in the morning now and not be a zombie. Another plus.
With the roomie gone, things are really quiet. I come home, fix supper, play some Final Fantasy XII (or read or study), then go to bed at some ungodly hour. Rinse, repeat. I thought it'd be a lot worse than it is. Gonna try to make my way to see the tree this week. Not much else going on, really.
Oh, and I have New Years Day off, which is nice. So if there is drinking to be done, I won't have to worry about going to work with a hangover.
And remember...
It's not Christmas without Die Hard.
Well, that's about it for now. Eat lots of food and open lots of presents!

So today I returned Tiger Woods 09 (because I will be getting TW10) and with my spoils picked up Starcraft. Why did I do this!? WHY!?
When Jess crashed for the night, I fired it up. Now, here I am, 2 and a half hours later... dead tired, having finally turned it off, not realising how much time has passed.
It's pretty cool though. I mean, for a 10 year old game, it held up really well. Just one question to any of you out there running it on Vista...
Why do the cut-scenes have immense color errors?
Is it because Vista isn't very backwards compat'?
Is it because Vista in general is just a piece of shit?
Oh well, anyway, that's that. I was supposed to go to the gym, but I'll just go tomorrow instead. Stupid 'Craft' games.
